George Carroll

George started his professional career in golf as an assistant golf pro at Baton Rouge C.C. in August 1980. In 1985, he managed Pro Golf Discount in Mandeville, LA, and held that position until October 1989. In November of 1989, he and his wife Debbie opened the first Golf Connection and had the store until March of 2008. After a brief stint in the real estate business, he and Debbie opened the second Golf Connection in May 2011.
Larry Aillet
Larry has been in retail sales for over 30 years. He worked for his father Charlie Aillet at Richard-Aillet Furniture from 1978–1984. His retail golf career began while working as store manager for Pro Golf Discount from 1985–1988. From 1990–2008, he joined George Carroll at the Golf Connection as sales manager, and while there, created a successful golf club repair shop. In May of 2011, he joined George again opening up The Golf Connection at their current location.
Larry was a member of the USL Golf Team that won the Southland Conference Championship from 1975-1978. His golfing accomplishments are many, but are highlighted by his runner-up finish in the Louisiana State Amateur in 1981 and 1996.
